Knuckle dusters!

Ok all,

Read in the local paper of a man (aged 38) who took his Grandfather's 'knuckle duster' to a friend to have it valued, [apparently his Grandfather had made it during the Great War for those times that the gun and bayonet were no longer useful and kept it in his boot (as his mates did)]. The man went out that evening forgetting that they were in his pocket and after leaving the local night club (yes Seaford has it's own night club!) found he had lost his wallet and on return to the club was not readmitted but asked if he had any weapons on him, he admitted to the knuckle duster. He was asked to leave the area by the bouncers who then informed the local police who picked up the man. They had him in court this week and the magistrates decided to give him a community order and not imprisonment as they believed his story, however they have stated that the artifact must be destroyed!

I have never come across any account of knuckle dusters being used and wondered if any of you had.

I have used war art as the place to put this as I could not think of anywhere else to put it and it was supposed to have been made from brass, but how they got the brass I dont know!

But he should have gone to jail apparantly!!!!!!

Made of brass, in your pocket and you didn't know it was there when you went out!!!!! His wallet must have been very heavy too not to have noticed the weight!!!!
