Chris_Baker Posted 22 November , 2006 Share Posted 22 November , 2006 It was one of three sections of the Army Reserve; that is, regular reserve. The others were Sections A and B. Why no C? No idea!

Muerrisch Posted 23 November , 2006 Share Posted 23 November , 2006 It was one of three sections of the Army Reserve; that is, regular reserve. The others were Sections A and B. Why no C? No idea! There was previously a C, and I mean to research it one day. D was for those who voluntarily extended their regular reserve commitment for a further 4 years, but there had to be continuity. Frank Richards a famous example. 6d a day paid quarterly, a marvellous lump sum in those days.
