CWGC has this man as 'Portglenone, Belfast' - not an uncommon mistake. Portglenone is in the Ballymena district (a village about nine miles to the west of the main town).

Can someone do a SDGW effort on this for a wee bit more detail?

Have included paper cutting at bottom.

Going through my files for one last 'scrounge' !

At which point you now need either Forum member Drummy or Rodge Dowson, co-authors of "Hell Let Loose", the Battalion history. If there's owt more worth knowing, Neil or Rodge will know it.
