johnnie Posted 20 November , 2006 Share Posted 20 November , 2006 I was wondering if anybody could give me advice of what some of the codes mean on my Great Grandfathers MIC. I have looked at the Medals Rolls and found his regiments, but was wonderinf what all the other "stuff" stood for.
johnnie Posted 20 November , 2006 Author Share Posted 20 November , 2006 Sorry. could anybody tell me how you add an image, so that I can add a copy of the MIC. I have tried the file attachment at the bottom of the page but that does not seem to work. I have a copy saved as a jpeg.

Stebie9173 Posted 20 November , 2006 Share Posted 20 November , 2006 The remarks seem to be: Discharged to Commission 9th March 1919. No T.E.M. (Territorial Force Efficiency Medal), previously the T.F.E.M. (F = Force). He presumably applied for the medal but did not qualify. The other two references with the /'s in are probably correspondence references, perhaps in relation to the application for a T.E.M. Steve.
