ororkep Posted 19 November , 2006 Share Posted 19 November , 2006 He kept his head down and luckily survived the war on the western front serving as a gunner with either 1st, 2nd, 3rd or 4th Siege Batteries, all 6 in Howitzers. Entitlement to Victory/British and 14 star and was transfered to Class Z reserve in 1919; a body of Soldiers who on being demobilised were at first posted to Class Z.
