Remembered Today:

'Open Country' and the Ypres Colony

Did anyone tape the recent 'Open Country' programme on the Ypres Salient and/or the one about the British ex-pats living there between the wars? Unfortunately I missed both due to Remembrance activities etc. I heard part of 'Open Country' on the Listen Again feature during the week, but when I finally settled down to listen to it today with my wife it had already been replaced with the latest edition. I am happy to supply a tape, refund expenses and make a donation to a suitable charity if anyone has a copy that they would be willing to lend.

Mark,

The programme 'escape from Calais', is also on the 'listen again' -list. Unfortunatly I missed the broadcast, and my laptop doesn't seem to have the software to listen to the programma.

cheers,

Bert.

Thanks to everyone who replied. I did check the 'Listen Again' feature on the BBC website and you can indeed listen to previous editions of 'Open Country' if you click the right link.
