Terence Munson Posted 3 November , 2006 Author Share Posted 3 November , 2006 Hello His correct name is OSBORN vice ORSBORN per ADM 242. All best don Don, I'm sure ORSBORN is the correct spelling, I have a copy of his marrage certificate - I reckon a pen pusher must have thought the 'R' was an error! Charles - Thanks I guess I thought they would be somewhere many miles from our part of 'Blighty' and not easy to access. Cheers Terry

Terence Munson Posted 4 November , 2006 Author Share Posted 4 November , 2006 and from his Medal Roll the following abbreviations: St V B Ww Remarks I.C. 6379 / 1918 otherwise Chas. Ed. Charles and H2 - Thanks again an email is on its way to FAAM! Any thoughts on the medal roll? I think the first line is medals, the second his death, but have no idea what "otherwise Chas. Ed." means - an alias? Cheers Terry
