On Saturday November 29th, at the Department of War Studies, Sandhurst, there is a one day seminar.

It commences at 09.30 and continues until 1700.

Subjects/Speakers are

The Germans and the British Tommy of 1916 --Prof Christopher Duffy

Haig in 1914-- Dr Paul Harris

A learning Curve at Montreuil?--Dr Dan Todman

A hard and uncompromising set of ruffians-the HAC on the Western Front--Lloyd Clark

Generals are always crazy at some point or other: Haig and the inplemantation of tactical doctrine on the Western Front--Dr Christopher Pugsley

Haig and his Armies Discussuon Panel--Dr Duncan Anderson

The day costs £25, which includes morning and afternoon tea, buffet lunch with wine or fruit juice.

Wish I could be there!!! Michelle, is the avatar an actual photo or just a look you aspire to? ;) When I was a kid in the south in the'50s there were lots of blue haired ladies, when it started graying they would blue it! Thanks to you and Martin for all the good work for WFA!
