Remembered Today:

Cambrin Comm. Cemetery Ext.

Yesterday I visited this cemetery in the afternoon and saw a damaged grave (see photo). It looked as if the stone was broken just above groundlevel, and carefully put against the stone of the adjoning grave. Everything else on the cemetery seemed to be allright. It did not seem to be the result of vandalism.

My friend and I did not know how to contact the C.W.G.C. about the damage(maybe they already know?). Can anyone help?

Walter

Report the matter to the France Area Office.

Email them on faoffice@cwgc.org

However, this looks like either a gardening accident or one due to wear and tear. It could also have come loose from its concrete base and is awaiting refitting.

I suspect they know about it already but report it anyway...just in case.
