Doing some research on lads that appear in the Coroners Records for E Sussex

If anyone can help me with the circumstances of loss for this ship

name: GLOVER, JOHN ALFRED

John Alfred of Meanly Road, East Ham, Essex, chief mate of cargo steamer Seven Seas, 62; found in the sea 5 miles south of Beachy Head, drowned after the sinking of the Seven Seas by an enemy submarine

Seven Seas, a steamer of 1194 grt built in 1888, was torpedoed and sunk by the German submarine U 37 6 miles south of Beachy Head on Apreil 1, 1915 while on a voyage from London to Liverpool while in ballast. Nine dead including the steamer's master.
