gnr.ktrha Posted 21 October , 2006 Share Posted 21 October , 2006 Hello, Does anyone have a copy of the above book written by George Trevelyan in 1919? He was the CO of the 1st British Red Cross Ambulance Unit, in Italy. Does the book give a lot of detail about the Ambulance? There was also a book written about the life of a chap called Thomas Ashby, I understand he was a Driver with the unit. Does this book give much details about his time with them? Failing that, does anyone know of any books with cover this unit in detail, first hand accounts etc? I understand the IWM has a Photograph collection which includes photographs of this unit, has anyone ever been to the IWM and looked through the photo's? I can't, of hand remember the name of the collection. I found it listed when I searched under the name '' Villa Trento''. Thanks for looking, Regards, Stewart
