Cenotaph 11 Nov

Hi y'all,

Our American Pals Cynthia and Roberta are now safely ensconced in England. They are looking forward to attending the ceremony at the Cenotaph tomorrow morning, followed by the service at the Guards Chapel and lunch at Peelers, New Scotland Yard.

Martin and I will be meeting them on the Treasury corner of King Charles Street tomorrow morning, and if any more Pals are in Whitehall, or attending the service or lunch, please come over and say hello.

Our photos are in the Pals Album in the Website section, and we should be recognisable through our sartorial choice. I will probably be wearing a grey trouser suit, and between us we will be sporting an assortment of baseball caps and fridge magnets.

See you there?

Trench,

Just imagine you are carrying a message under heavy fire, and you should manage it. We'll keep a lookout for a fellow in a tin hat and khaki, trying to get his breath back!! Good luck!
