John_Hartley Posted 10 November , 2003 Share Posted 10 November , 2003 I've just about finished writing up the "story" of Walter Carter who is remembered on the Cheadle War Memorial. Early on I realised I recognised the address of where he worked - it is now one of the offices of my recent employer. Out of interest, I emailed the Public Relations Manager thinking she might find it a snippet to use sometime. And, she immediately has. She's posted the story on their in-house " news forum" under the heading A Thought for Remembrance Day and suggested that folk give Walter a thought. Nice one, I reckon.
