HI All

Is there a reason why I can't find the MIC's for 2 J Ramsay A/S both RNVR RND both kia ClydeZ/7007 and Clyde Z/5463.

I have tried every which way but with no luck is it because they were RNVR?

many thanks

T

Yes, there are no Medal Index Cards for the RND. Search here for the mans' record of service: -

That's because there aren't any MICs for RND naval personnel. MICs are Army, so only RND men from Army battalions will have them. The RN Medal Rolls are, I believe, on microfilm at the NA and are not available on line. RND Record Cards are on line (£3.50) at the NA and the originals of these are at the FAA Museum.

Your two men are available online, £3.50 each.

The record cards are in a sort of short-hand, but will give you all the relevant details of their service history.
