Guest Scott_64 Posted 16 October , 2006 Share Posted 16 October , 2006 Hi all! May someone knows books or articles about the RN activity at Baltic sea 1918-1919. I would very appreciated it.
Dolphin Posted 16 October , 2006 Share Posted 16 October , 2006 Scott First of all, welcome to the Forum! I recommend Geoffrey Bennett's Freeing the Baltic, ISBN 184341001X, which is an updated edition of Cowan's War, published in the late 1960s/early 1970s. It covers the subject well, and it's a good read. I hope that this helps Gareth

Bart150 Posted 16 October , 2006 Share Posted 16 October , 2006 Thanks for the book reference, Gareth. My Dad was there on HMS Cleopatra, aged 16, his first ship. So I want to get right into this subject. Any more leads welcome. BTW There is a memorial in Portsmouth Cathedral: http://www.memorials.inportsmouth.co.uk/ch...dral/baltic.htm Bart
