Something for radio fans, including those in the rest of the world who listen on the internet.

An hour long programme on St Dunstan's is to be broadcast on BBC Radio 4 at 8 pm Saturday night.

Sadly this clashes with the "Festival of Rememberance" being broadcast on BBC Radio 2.

On Sunday at 11.45, following their live broadcast from the Cenotaph, BBC Radio 4 will broadcast a programme about Sutton House in Hackney "which was once home to the St John's Institute, a recreational club for young men whose activities were curtailed when they went off to fight in the trenches of the First World War".

Another BBC Radio 4 programme to note:

Tue 11 Nov, 13:30 GMT

OUT OF THE SHADOWS - A portrait of the Scottish composer Cecil Coles.... Coles died on the Somme in April 1918 after trying to rescue wounded comrades.....
