Hedley Malloch Posted 8 November , 2003 Share Posted 8 November , 2003 At 08h00 this morning (8 November) the 43rd Infantry Regiment of the French Army wil perform a ceremony to commemorate the 85th anniversary of the execution by German firing-squad of Léon Trulin, an 18-year-old Lille youth shot for his resistance activities. The ceremony will take place at a monument erected to his memory facing the north-western walls and ditches of the Lille Citadelle. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
