No, his MIC only tells you that he was in the Gloucester Yeomanry and was entitled to the British War & Victory medals.

To find out more you would have to look at Kew for his service papers if they survive.

this MIC doesnt show discharged through wounds

But then the MIC is the start of the story. Ive medals to a CG officers seriously wounded enough not to go back to France but nothing on the mic

soldiers papers (if they exist) should tell you or check the Times for casualties (bit hit and miss though)

MiC generally only record Men as being Discharged when they applied for & received a Silver War Badge,if they didnt then often it is unrecorded,but the actual Medal Roll page{the reference follows the BWM/Victory on the card}may have a discharge date/disembodiment date on it
