I was looking at an relatives Mic card and noticed that it didint mention which battalion of the Hampshire regiment he was in ? is it unusual not to have them on their cards. All my other cards have mentioned this although i did notice on this page quite a few didint have it mentioned

could i ask for youre thoughts on this?

Also is there any way to find out the battalion number as i would like to look up information on where he was for my research into my family and there service

Thank you

Quite normal in my experience.

Someone on here might be able to tell you his battalion from his number.

Regards,

Neil.
