can anyone help i'm trying to discover more about sapper william carter i have one medal card can't find another one which i should have not sure why maybe only avaible at Kew.on the medal card it says detailed from list-is this the SWB list why would they delete him.any ideas!

There are two references for a SWB roll, List RE/3806 and List RE/3952. It looks like he was recorded twice, this was discovered and so one entry was deleted.

This is often seen. I saw one at Kew yesterday which had 2 references for the SWB rolls. One of the entries had a red line put through it. I assume it was down to an administrative error.

thanks everyone all been fantastic as usual!! how did you know what reg he was from -is it on the medal card? and are discharge papers online at kew
