Mark,

Thanks for sharing that with us; it's always nice to see original documents

Are you using this for research? As I note that there are several differences with the entries as they appear in R. W. Walker's "To what end did they die? Officers Died at Galllipoli"

Most notably, what I originally read as "2nd Lt D. S. Wallis" can, I feel, only be 2nd Lt O. S. Whaley.

These differences are probably the result of later corrections to the lists which were made in the heat of battle

You may have already checked this, but others which caught my eye are:

Pretyman died probably on 12th Aug

Pilleau KiA 10th Aug

Hellyer DoW 22nd Aug

Hayes KiA 10th Aug

Bell KiA 10th Aug

Martyr Capt. J. F., DoW 11th Aug (buried at sea)

Richardson KiA 11th Aug

Lewis KiA 12th Aug

Eastwood KiA 1th Aug

Hog (only one 'g') DoW 20th Aug (burried Pieta Milit. Cem. Malta)

Blake A. J. (not 'G') W., KiA 21st Aug

Lewis KiA 27/28th Aug

Hickson KiA 6th to 12th Aug

Willington KiA 6th or 10th Aug

Griffith KiA 10th Aug

D'arcy-Irvine C. (not 'E') W., KiA 6th to 12 Aug

(E & O E)

Regards

Michael
