His medals will be listed on the medal roll ADM 171/122 this is a microfilm, if he qualified for the Merchant Marine War Medal, the card index for that is on fische in BT 351. Lörscher Posted 25 September , 2006 Share Posted 25 September , 2006 Chris, I can add something on COMRADE's service: She was escorting the british S/S ANHUI from Famagusta to Port Said when this steamer was torpedoed by the austrian U 27 on 12.08.1918 and finished off on the moring of 13.08.
