He was attached to 1st Meerut Division of the Indian Corps and he also entered france on 20/9/14. Coincidently the same day his future Brother in law was Killed. (see signature) The prefix on his army no. is T which I think referred to horse driven transport. As you can see there are a few similarites. T number prefix (T1, T2, T3 & T4) Horse Transport, Army Service Corps. Mark My Grandfather was also a driver in the ASC.
