Frederick Radford served in WW1 with both the Sherwood Foresters and KOYLI and was awarded the Mons Star which I believe was relatively rare. How can I find out more about his service record please. Any info would be very welcome.

Hi Kath,

Five Frederick Radford's served overseas with the Sherwood Foresters according to the Medal Index Cards. See here: http://www.nationalarchives.gov.uk/documen...mp;mediaarray=*

However none of these men show service overseas with the KOYLI as well.

Do you know which of the two regiments he was with in 1914?

It is worth reading "Researching a soldier" at The Long, Long Trail website for ideas of how to progress if you have not alreday done so.
