West Lothian Courier 9th November 1917 Mrs Buchan, North Bridge Street Bathgate, has received notification that her husband, Corporal Alexander Buchan, Royal Scots has been recommended for the Military Medal. Hi John, Found out some more details about 26697 Cpl A Buchan MM: Medal Index Card shows service with the 12th Battalion Royal Scots. 2nd Battalion War Diary shows: Cpl Alexander Buchan A Company 2nd Royal Scots was presented with his Military Medal on the 29/10/1917 by the Corps Commander.
