There are the choices -hope I missed nobody out and good luck everyone.

Owen got my vote I liked the unusual angle of the choice and the simple lines of the picture....

The quality of this months offerings are astounding. It was difficult to choose between all the entries but Russell takes it with a truly magnificent effort (LoyalEddie and AndyShep close behind)

Great entries this month - and no angelic children on daddy's knee!

I'm not normally one for prose/poetry for the MGWAT but, as he did the poll for me, Spike gets my vote.

(I could have done it you know :P )

(and it's still August - still time for a last big push ;) )

The MGWAT poll is usually a hard choice, but this month is even harder.

I could only vote one option, so that's what I have done. Lord knows I'd vote them all, if I could!

Folks

Really delighted to have even been thought about.

Great to have a place where people interested in one subject can express themselves in so many different ways.

Glad to be here

You can have a go next time Roxy, believe me it's a minefield of logistics, not missing any out and thinking up daft titles for the art works that won't insult the artistes. Then getting all the links and making them work. Thanks for the vote, the poll is always good for a vote or two ;)

Great efforts everyone, it is a chance for others to see your work and a bit of fun as well......

Good grief, people, this voting lark is getting harder and harder. Quite stunning entries, and not a bad one amongst them either !

Wouldn't normally vote for a non-visual one, but the poetry in Spike's entry struck me as I read it, so he got my vote.

Owen's strayed into the 'child on knee' cliche, but with the real twist which more than compensated - great idea, mate.

Thanks and well done to everyone, your efforts are genuinely appreciated

Went for Landsturm's entry.

Liked spike's entry too.

Visual-painting or word-painting......oh the choice.

Thanks for kind words on my entry.

Must try harder.

The artwork is, as always, great, but Spikes words got to me, so Spike it is this month for me.

Welldone to everyone especially the new entrants, looking forward to seeing their entries in September.

Cheers

Kim

Voted for Owen's concert party, or a Pal's Pierrot, as you might say.

All excellent efforts but for me Russells Airman stands out. I love his work.
