Yep,

Someone can tell me where I can find or consult a unit / Batalion history for the period 04 may 1917 till 21 june 1917. It concerns the 1° Kompagnie Landsturm-Infanterie-Batalion Marburg which took also part of the Kommandatur Courtrai (now Kortrijk) in Flanders. I am on the rseearch for Gefreiter Werner, murdered in the night of 04 to 5 may 1917. The murderers are executed on 21 june 1917.

Any information or hints are welcome

Thanks in advance

Marc

Try the Bibliothek der Bundeswehr in Strausberg, Berlin.

They hold (regimental) histories of many units. In case you don't live near Berlin (like me), I believe they send books to libraries (abroad) for a small fee.

Good luck
