Remembered Today:

Great Grandfather

I'm trying to get some information on my Great Grandfather. His name was Richard McLaughlan and was, I believe, from Irish origin living in Glasgow. I have no idea in which regiment he served, but I do have a reasonably good photograph of him in uniform with the rank of sergeant. Is there anyone who could identify his regiment from the photograph to start me on my quest?

The MIC'S list only one Richard McLaughlin. Private 17543 Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders.

If you post your photograph that would help.
