Hello,

If anyone has any info or names or locations of trenches in use in july 1917 close to hussar farm can you please help me out here,

I'm still learning how to use these maps .

I want to trace down the last hours of some soldiers died on 31/07/1917 and if I get lucky the place where they got killed.

I know that area pretty well since I grew up there.

Sabine, In a thread related to the Potijze Mystery Thread (A Soldier Who Used to Have a Grave), actually in a spin-off or a parallel thread, started by Andrew Hesketh I think, Stebie posted a map of that period (indicating the position of 12/HLI.

There you could see :

Half Moon Trench, Piccadilly Trench, Hedge Trench.

aurel,

thank you, your memory is still in good condition :)

I have the map, but I didn't have the names.

Do you know where I can find these trench maps?
