Guest KevinEndon Posted 11 August , 2006 Share Posted 11 August , 2006 Can any pal tell me where this chap was likely to have served to get his pair as there is no theatre of war listed. Any other info on him would be great.I better not call this MIC boring as I did with Moorley only to find out his war grave is about 5 miles away. PPCLI Posted 11 August , 2006 Share Posted 11 August , 2006 According to the Territorial Force renumbering page his 6-digit number falls into the block allocated to the 5th Bn. North Staffordshire Regiment (T.F.). However, only a search of the medal rolls at Kew will give you definite proof. If he did serve with the 5th Bn., then The Long, Long Trail gives the Divisional involvement 46th Division during the war. The other 1st line territorial battalion of the North Staffordshire Regiment (1/6th) also served with this division. Stuart
