Hi

I have been tying to decipher this MIC and, being very inexperieced, i have got nowhere!

Can anybody read what it says and tell me what it means!

I woudl like to write up a copy to in 'Word' to show my family as nobody will be able to read this one! :P

Regards

Hello

welcome

he was entitled to a clasp on his

1914 star

also a British war medal and victory medal

the numbers top right are in reference to the medal rolls and their relative page - rolls at the national archives, kew

bottom date is when he first entered a theatre of war

top middle are the regiments he served with and his number - his rank private and then corporal
