Hello,

I'm look for staff and patient records for the VAD (Voluntary Aid Detachment) hospital in Higham Ferrers in WW1.

Anyone know where I should look?

Regards

Tony - I am having a problem with my PC and cannot open links - is your 'this' link a general link to VAD records or only to the Higham Ferrers records, and if a general link, could you possibly give me the correct address?

Many thanks

Just Google it at - redcross.org.uk - then flick through to the VAD entry

Dave.

Thanks Dave - I was hoping that link would bring me to a new source as I'm still floundering re Winifred M Letts (1882-1972) who was, I think, qualified as a masseuse, was definitely a VAD and whose designation in the Red Cross records is 'Special Nurse'.
