Terry Carter Posted 6 August , 2006 Share Posted 6 August , 2006 The War Diary of the 10th Royal Warwicks mentions this officer being escorted from the battalion whilst it was serving on the Somme, August 1916. Here is his medal card. Any comments please. Terry
SteveE Posted 6 August , 2006 Share Posted 6 August , 2006 I would assume that the award of medals was not authorised for the following reason..... London Gazette #29850, dated 6th December 1916. R. War. R. Temp. Capt. J. W. J. Sellex (attd.) is dismissed the Service by sentence of a General Court-Martial. 30 Oct. 1916.
