Rob Bulloch Posted 4 August , 2006 Share Posted 4 August , 2006 Hi Le Treport. This TV docu-drama has been given a good bit of coverage in the press over the past couple of days, the Vancouver papers The Sun and The Province had centre page pullouts on the making and filming of this well deserved subject (Vimy Ridge) my only question is why "Justin Trudeau"? (Aucune insulte francophone n'a prevu) Cheers Rob

Le_Treport Posted 5 August , 2006 Author Share Posted 5 August , 2006 I find www.chapters.indigo.ca a good source for WW1 books & they ship to the UK. With luck they will stock the DVD if it's released!
Borden Battery Posted 5 August , 2006 Share Posted 5 August , 2006 Yes, we are quite aware of this project several members/relations from the CEF Study Group are involved. There is even a British re-enactment group being used. Borden Battery *CBC Great War Re-Enactment Movie Website A dedicated website from CBC Television and Galafilms, it is part of their project to select descendants of Canadian Expeditionary Force soldiers for a major re-enactment film in the summer of 2006. The website includes general background information, information updates, biographies of selected participants and a small discussion forum.
