Donny Anderson Posted 1 August , 2006 Share Posted 1 August , 2006 Downloaded a MIC to a Gordon Highlander this morning and noticed an amendment to his original number. The second service number is in the range for the 4th City of Aberdeen Bn Gordon Highlanders after the 1917 renumbering. What if any is the significance of the number '4' being crossed out. His VM is impressed with the service number 1150. I thought if the battalion was identified in the service number this was as a prefix not a suffix? But I'm probibly wrong, I usually am. See attachment. thanks in advance Donny
