Guest English_Pidgeon Posted 31 July , 2006 Share Posted 31 July , 2006 Can someone help me read/interprate this medal card? I know some of the 'corps' such as the Royal Scots, the Liverpool Regiment, Northumberland Fusiliers, Royal Fusiliers but I can't read the others though I think second row on top left card is the Cameronians but not sure. Is the number (1) for theatre the Western front? And I really don't understand the numbers in the other sections (apart from the regiment number). Chris_Baker Posted 31 July , 2006 Share Posted 31 July , 2006 Pidgeon, you're going to need to post the pdf file rather than the txt one. Have you read the section on how to interpet a MIC - on the Long, Long Trail website (link top left)?

Coldstreamer Posted 31 July , 2006 Share Posted 31 July , 2006 Hello Not much there except Liverpool Regt and Royal Fus Can you copy the MIC into a jepeg file and convert into web format (or whatever) to reduce the size ? Ian
Coldstreamer Posted 31 July , 2006 Share Posted 31 July , 2006 And the numbers in the other sections (without seeing the MIC) will give reference to the medal rolls and page numbers - rolls held at the National Archives, kew Ian
