Highland light infantry died on 31/07/1917 son of William and Isabel Gardiner jacksdale, husband of Lucy Margaret Amy Gregory. He had an older brother Alexander M. Gardiner who served with the sherwood forresters. I'm looking for relatives of these two who are still alive. Frederick has no grave, but I have a postcard taken in 1918-1919 of his grave on potijze chateau ground. I could read some other names and I found their graves on the graveyard. It looks to me that the first two rows of the cemetery are missing. That would explain why Frederick's grave is gone sabine Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
