Another Rank Query

I've just come across the rank of 2nd Corporal for a man in the Royal Army Ordnance Corps. I've never heard of this rank before but would guess it would be equivalent to Lance Corporal. Am I correct in assuming this because I know assumption is the mother of all foul ups.

Below all corporals and above all Lance Corporals. Equal to Bombardier RA. Two chevrons. Abolished 1920.

Not infy, cavy. RA yes, and some other corps, can do a full look up next week, just going out.

The rank of 2nd Cpl was common in the RE, and in that Corps at least, the holder wore a single chevron.
