Lord Fisher by Bacon 2 Vols

Wisbech's local annual "Rose Fair" yeilded a bagful of book bargains today,The RAFA Stall had the 2 Volumes of "Lord Fisher of Kilverstone" by Bacon & "My Life & A Few Yarns" by Admiral H.L.Fleet{who served from the 1850s & was a big wheel behind the VAD & BRCS{on a quick glance through}}@ 50p each.

Another Stall had "Dunkirk" by A.D.Divine DSM,with a 36 page Honours Roll for MN & RN Awards for Dunkirk by Ship! & "Ypres Before & After The Great War" @ £3.00 the two & just for balance "Beers of the World" a magnificent modern "Reference" book full of luvverly Beers in glorious Technicolour @ 30p off another stall~Roll on next year!

Keep me going for weeks! :D

Pleased to hear that someone got a result this afternoon!

I don't think Admiral Bacon would be too pleased to know that his 2-volume Fisher went for just 10/- In fact he's probably rolling in his grave - which I happened to photograph a couple of weeks ago.

Enjoy your bargains, and if you'd like to sell on the Fisher after you've read it, please let me know.
