Many thanks Kate,

Am I correct in believing that Dewhurst was an officer in the 1st Battalion Royal Munster Fusiliers and that he took part in the landing at V Beach/Sedh-el-Bahr on 25 April 1915? If I am correct, I would be very grateful if you would let me know if the book contains an account of the landing.

Regards,

Philip

Philip,

ND was with the Royal Munster Fusiliers. He landed on V Beach from the River Clyde, and his book contains a good 13-page account of his time on the peninsula.

I imagine you would like a copy of the chapter?

I would, indeed, be most grateful for a copy at your convenience.
