Owen D Posted 30 June , 2006 Share Posted 30 June , 2006 I thought we were going to see a "Then & Now" one. Have you done paintings on a Great War theme? Or is that not your media?
Soren Posted 30 June , 2006 Author Share Posted 30 June , 2006 Hi Owen, It's a question of time really, and my style of painting involves lots of layers to create depth, also I'm not too good at it so I therefore am generally very critical of these efforts! This is something the Pal's have seen before but it is a sample of my painting efforts, a partial scan of my painting 'In Flanders Fields'
Ozzie Posted 1 July , 2006 Share Posted 1 July , 2006 Your use of colour conveys the mood so well, Soren. You should post more of this work. Cheers Kim
Owen D Posted 1 July , 2006 Share Posted 1 July , 2006 Like it. Love the feeling of depth. I really should get doodling again.
gporta Posted 1 July , 2006 Share Posted 1 July , 2006 I definitely like the painting! As well as other colour scans you have posted before. The soldier with the glittering tin hat in the background reminds me of Orpen. Any chance to see more of your work in colour? Gloria
