I need some expert opinion. I think that the attached MC says that the man was discharged. Can anybody add anything further

As he is shown as having a Silver War Badge, he was discharged as unfit for service (my wording).

Medal rolls and theSWB listing may give more information.

Thanks - That's what I thought, but I just needed confirmation.

I was also interested to see if anybody could identify the particular corps in which Joseph served. On the MC it looks like ASC/5.A.H.T.D.

Presumably this was a transport unit.

Any ideas welcomed
