HarryBettsMCDCM Posted 16 June , 2006 Share Posted 16 June , 2006 It means that for some reason the Medals were returned under King's Regulations # 1743, "dft" is probably "adt" for adjustment,ie: amending details on naming,etc;to correct an error & would have been returned to the recipient on amendment.
