Tom Morgan Posted 14 June , 2006 Share Posted 14 June , 2006 "The Germans at Thiepval" is now out - a worthy companion to "The Germans at Beaumont Hamel". I think it gives an excellent account of the German preparations and support networks. There's whole chapter on walks in the present-day area and another on car tours. Another all-embracing account. Well done, Jack.

Jonathan Saunders Posted 26 June , 2006 Share Posted 26 June , 2006 I cant remember if I have asked this before in another thread but is the information in these books in any way different to Jack Sheldon's Germans on the Somme? Jon
