Hello ...

I am still trying to sort out which MIC belongs to my great-uncle Jack Tatton. I know think that it could be this one. Details follow:

Name: John Thomas Tatton

Corps:

Royal Army Medical Corps. Rank: private Regiment No.: 55341

Lab. Corps " 638432

Medals:

Victory Roll: LC/102.B.36 Page: 3649

British do do

'15 Star LC/109C'2 3/12

Theatre of War first served in: (1)

Date of entry therein: 10.14.15

Any help in figuring this out would be most appreciated. Is it possible to determine with what detachment he served?

I am pretty sure (but not positive) this is the great-uncle. A bit like looking for a needle in a haystack, as I live in US, and have no records aside from what is available over the Internet.

Many thanks,

Gary Tatton

Hello Joe...

Thank you for the helpful lead. I have written Mr. Lee, and shall see what

I can find out. A most interesting saga: the Labours Corps. I had no idea

it was such dangerous work.

Cheers,

Gary
