SilverSoldier Posted 7 June , 2006 Share Posted 7 June , 2006 Hello Terry. Yes indeed it is good to see that these chaps are remembered. A word of advice please Terry as I have a vested interest in this subject. You may have seen on one or two threads that I have been seeking information on my Wifes Grandfather. I now have his MIC and established his service in France/Flanders and his entitlement to War Medal and Victory Medal. Discharge date 09/18, died 10/18 in a Mental Asylum, I have applied for his Death Certificate to ascertain cause of Death. If I can establish that his death was attributed in some way to War Service would I have a case to get him added to the CWGC Database? Sorry to be so long winded in the question. Regards. Terry W. Neil Clark Posted 7 June , 2006 Share Posted 7 June , 2006 That's great news Terry. Are you aware of the circumstances of this man's case? I wonder if he is yet another T.B case... Does his name appear locally on any civic tribute in Yorkshire... Thanks for posting the info Terry and thanks is also due to the person(s) that made a case for this man.
