armourersergeant Posted 7 October , 2003 Share Posted 7 October , 2003 i know of the Official history of the great War by Edmonds but i was wondering is there any others about say The Beor war and the Somaliland expedition. What i mean is where do the professionals get there info from other than papers of the men who fought there. If i was Ian Beckett and i was about to write the bio of Johnnie Gough and i wanted an overview of the troubles in Somaliland in 1903-04, where would i go to get a good official source? Ta Arm. Neil Burns Posted 7 October , 2003 Share Posted 7 October , 2003 Hi Arm, The Battery Press has some pretty obscure Official histories and General Staff Reference works for some of the Victorian wars and other conflicts: Battery Press Take Care, Neil
