Britain's Last Tommies

Hello Folks.

I am currently reading: Britain's Last Tommies. Author Richard Van Emden, Published by Pen & Sword Books. ISBN 1-84415-315-O

I quote; These are the stories of those men and of the many who lived to a very old age and died only recently. They tell in their own words of suffering and courage, of humour and comradeship and of experiences that some of them say they would not have missed for the whole world, in spite of the cost.

Compelling, some times shocking and compassionate reminiscence of the last of our Servicemen in WW1. A gripping read so far!
