Stephen Nulty Posted 26 May , 2006 Share Posted 26 May , 2006 Pals I'm trying (without any success!!!) to find a CWGC entry for Fred Parkin of Newton-le-Willows, Lancashire. Born 1891, son of Fred and Beatrice Parkin. I believe he was originally with the South Lancs but died in 1918 with MGC. My tired eyes have had enough of CWGC for today. Grateful for any help/pointers.

Guest geoff501 Posted 27 May , 2006 Share Posted 27 May , 2006 how did you copy the page ? A function key perhaps ? Alt + Print Scrn usually puts the active window on the clipboard, Shift + Print Scrn puts the entire desktop onto the clipboard. Then paste into another application. Terry Denham Posted 30 May , 2006 Share Posted 30 May , 2006 The possible date error has been reported. The original register gives 1918 and so it is a scanning error.
