ServiceRumDiluted Posted 29 March , 2017 Share Posted 29 March , 2017 Medals aren't really my thing but I have a damaged Victory Medal to 14124 Pvt. Fred Munks 2/Lincs KIA 10.3.15 at Neuve Chappelle. Originally from Mansfield. It is only the medallion, no ribbon or ribbon hanger and the surname has been defaced by a few blows, leaving only 14124 PTE F ------- LINC R. It was found in a river and leads me to think it has possibly been defaced and discarded deliberately. There is certainly a story there somewhere.
